As part of the Subrogation/Workers’ Compensation Team, the Team Attorney provides legal support and guidance to business operations.

• Ad stating relevant legal issues regarding Workers’ Compensation Operations to General Counsel.
• Providing timely and suitable legal review and advice to assigned workers’ compensation recovery teams.
• Ensuring that possible adverse suits and legal matters toward clients and Company are handled appropriately.
• Providing training in relevant legal issues to new and current analysts.
• Communicating with Workers’ Compensation Analysts as needed with information and guidance regarding new court decisions, statutes, regulations and the potential impact on file handling.

• Juris Doctorate from an approved ABA law school.
• License to practice law in any state. California license a plus.
• One or more years of workers’ compensation experience preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a keen ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization.
• Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

$130,000 – $200,000 USD. This is an exempt position. The salary range is for Base Salary. There is also an opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses. Compensation is determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.
