The hiring range for this opportunity is $150,000 to $165,000 annual salary along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Technology Infrastructure & Operations Manager is responsible for leading and integrating enterprise infrastructure services and end‑user support operations across the organization. This role provides strategic and operational leadership over Server Infrastructure and Service Desk teams.
This leader ensures the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of the organization’s technology environment while delivering a high‑quality end‑user experience. The role requires a hands‑on leader who can balance operational execution, team development, risk management, and continuous improvement in a regulated, service‑oriented environment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Partner with cybersecurity leadership to maintain a strong security posture and compliance alignment.
- Oversee enterprise server infrastructure, including virtual environments, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and on‑premises/cloud platforms.
- Develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
- Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Drive service excellence, standardization, and ITIL‑aligned best practices.
- Directly manage team members across infrastructure and support functions. Provide leadership across two physical locations (Roseville and Chico). Coach, mentor, and develop team members; establish succession planning. Drive accountability, performance management, and professional growth. Foster a collaborative, service‑oriented culture across teams.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED
- Required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or cybersecurity; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Licenses / Certifications (preferred):
- ITIL
- Azure or AWS Architect Certifications
- VMware VCP
- CISM
- Work Experience:
More than 8 years - Experience with Zero Trust architectures and cloud‑native application design.
- Supervisory / Management
Experience:
5–8 years - Familiarity with banking compliance frameworks such as GLBA, FFIEC, PCI DSS, and SOX.
- Strong experience with:
- Windows Server environments
- Virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware or Hyper‑V)
- Active Directory / Entra
- Cloud platform experience (AWS or Azure)
- Backup and disaster recovery systems
- Enterprise endpoint management
- Managing Service Desk operations and service delivery metrics
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and regulatory compliance environments.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and operational risk.
- Knowledge of:
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
