what the city of roseville offers- $116,669 - $156,347 annually (dependent on experience)

the normal work schedule is monday through friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; a flex schedule may be available. Candidates may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule with supervisor approval and must be able to report to city of roseville worksites when required.

experience and training- experience: three years of increasingly responsible experience in computer applications development and implementation, including one year providing technical and functional supervision over assigned personnel.
- training: a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Major course work in computer science, information technology, engineering, business management, information systems, accounting, finance or a related field is desirable.
- license and certificate: possession of a valid california driver’s license by date of appointment. Some positions require clearance of a comprehensive police department (pd) background check within 12 months of appointment. If not cleared prior to initial appointment, security access will be limited to non-pd related systems until clearance is received.
selection process
all candidates meeting the minimum qualifications will have their application scored in a formula rate examination. Supplemental questions will be utilized by the department hiring authority to make interview and selection determinations. Final appointment is contingent upon a check of past employment references, finger print check, and other position-specific pre-employment requirements.
