I hope this finds you well. I am posting here today with the hope of meeting someone whose title will be liaison and community educator. Here is a little background.

My name is Lisa. I am a nurse, turned nurse practitioner, and turned nurse entrepreneur. Across every chapter of my career, one truth became impossible to ignore:
Every morning, 10,000 baby boomers become senior citizens. As you open your door to start your day, those ten thousand doors also swing open — and behind those doors are families quietly facing aging, illness, uncertainty, and a change in health and wellness. Not emergencies in the dramatic sense—but moments that matter deeply. A fall. A diagnosis. A worried daughter.

A devoted spouse trying to do everything right. Families don’t need more brochures from senior care companies. They need guidance, reassurance, and a trusted human connection. That is why I built Geriatric Wellness & Caregiving of California
—and why I am now inviting the right person to join me as our Liaison and Community Educator.

This Role Is About Planting Seeds, Not Pushing Sales: we are a high-touch, concierge, non-medical caregiving and geriatric wellness organization serving high profile families who value dignity, excellence, and thoughtful planning.

As our Liaison & Community Educator, you will be the face, heart, and voice of our mission in the community.

You will:

• Educate—not sell
• Connect—not convince
• Build trust—one relationship at a time, one family at a time, one doctors office at a time, one retirement community at a time.

This Role Is Perfect For You If You Are;

• A retired or semi-retired nurse, social worker, care manager, therapist, or allied health professional
• A natural relationship builder who “has never met a stranger”
• Someone who finds deep fulfillment in helping families feel less alone

• A graduate student or early-career clinician seeking exposure, mentorship, and an economic ladder

• Making warm, professional visits to:
• Community organizations
• Physician offices
• Senior living and wellness partners
• Family-facing groups and associations
• Delivering small, conversational educational presentations
• Representing our values, culture, and standards with grace and professionalism
• Serving as a bridge between the community and our internal care team
• Helping families understand what support can look like—before crisis hits
