Job SummaryDesigns and implements Adventist Health’s (AH’s) revenue cycle strategies to ensure reimbursements are maximized and leads the optimization of the day to day operation of the system‑wide revenue cycle function. Provides vision and leadership to support AH's markets, regions, and partnerships in area of revenue cycle. Responsibilities will include driving adherence to local, state, and federal regulations as well as maintaining knowledge of all reimbursement guidelines.

Required
- Leads Adventist Health’s revenue cycle function and oversees the strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency of revenue cycle operations throughout the organization.
- Directs all revenue cycle activities, which includes billing, collections, payment posting, patient financial services, and other related items. Ensures that maximum reimbursements are maintained and that charges meet insurance guidelines.
- Monitors and tracks established key performance indicators (KPIs). Leads initiatives to resolve problematic trends and resolve difficult account issues as needed. Develops strategies to identify root cause surrounding billing issues and concerns and works to create processes to address those issues and potential improvements.
- Mentors and leads team in building plans to achieve best practice performance through strong analytical capabilities, process improvement identification, and technology enhancements. Demonstrates working knowledge of revenue cycle strategies, all facets of insurance claim filing requirements and current legislation.
- Advises the AH executive team on revenue cycle performance, financial planning, cash flow, and policy matters. Builds and maintains a high‑performing team. Works closely with management and team members to create a team environment ensuring communication within the department and cross‑functionally as required.
- Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
