The ideal candidate will have hands‑on field experience combined with office‑based estimating experience using industry‑standard estimating software.

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for commercial and industrial electrical projects
• Perform material take‑offs and analyze project drawings, specifications, and addenda
• Support senior estimators in identifying cost‑effective solutions and accurate project scope coverage
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and estimating team members to ensure accurate project costing
• Participate in site visits and pre‑bid walkthroughs to assess project requirements and gather relevant data
• Request, compile, and review pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Assist with tracking estimate data and supporting cost reviews as needed
• Utilize electrical estimating software to enhance accuracy and efficiency in bid preparation
• Maintain organized estimating files and documentation
• Stay informed of applicable industry standards, codes, and regulations

• 2–3 years of commercial or industrial electrical field experience
• 2–3 years of electrical estimating experience in an office environment
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of electrical materials, methods, and labor units
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
