Engineering Manager – City of Roseville Environmental Utilities Department

Step into a pivotal leadership role where your engineering expertise will help shape the future for the City of Roseville in our technical services division. As an Engineering Manager, we rely on your deep understanding of environmental engineering to manage complex capital improvement projects and maintenance of facilities. This is a career-defining opportunity for a licensed California Civil Engineer who can combine strategy, leadership and public service to make a lasting impact on the community.

Normal work schedule:
Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee capital improvement and maintenance projects for environmental facilities.
  • Develop project budgets, schedules and technical specifications in alignment with city goals.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards and quality assurance requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve project objectives and timely delivery.

Experience and Training
  • Five years of increasingly responsible experience in professional civil or environmental engineering, including two years of administrative responsibility.
  • AB:
    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with major coursework in civil, environmental engineering or a closely related field.
License and Certificate

Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment. Possession of a current certificate of registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in California by date of application.
