GHD has an excellent opportunity for a Water resources engineer to focus on areas including water resources, hydrology and hydraulics, storm water and flood management, engineering research, GIS analyses, design plans, specification writing and construction cost estimating. Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in Engineering, Water Resources
Salary Range: $83,000 - $140,000 based on experience.
Responsibilities- Contract Management:
Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan. - Improvement/Innovation:
Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them. - Engineering Standards Specification:
Support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and evaluate their effectiveness under the guidance of more senior colleagues. - Knowledge Management System:
Help others maximize value from knowledge management systems by offering support and advice. - Client & Customer Management (External):
Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships using relevant sales or client systems. - Data Collection and Analysis:
Collect and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats; capable of working independently. - Personal Capability Building:
Develop own capabilities through assessment and development planning, training and coaching; maintain external professional accreditation where relevant. - Technical Developments Recommendation:
Research and suggest technical developments to improve websites/portals/software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs. - Product and Solution Development:
Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs within established systems. - Research:
Carry out research activities to support others or fulfill role requirements. - Technical Troubleshooting:
Support troubleshooting efforts, aiding in quick and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of technical issues with equipment and experiments.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering - Experience:
Minimum 3 years in Engineering, Water Resources
