Bridgeway Christian Church is a Scripture-soaked, Spirit-led church in the Sacramento area, and we are seeking a Young Adults Pastor to oversee our thriving Bridgeway Young Adults (BYA) ministry. Interested applicants are invited to send a resumé and cover letter to bkileyrch.

• A strong and thriving personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• A commitment to a rhythm of work and rest that allows for excellence in the workplace, health in the household, and spiritual and emotional vibrancy.
• A work and volunteer history that demonstrates a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
• A demonstrated track record of emotional intelligence and personal humility.
• A demonstrated ability as an effective preacher and teacher.
• A demonstrated ability to build volunteer teams.
• A Bible/theology degree from an accredited four-year college or university. A seminary degree is preferred.
• A minimum of three years serving on staff at a church with a weekly attendance of at least 1000.

• Provide pastoral leadership to the Bridgeway Young Adults (BYA) community. In conjunction with staff and volunteer leaders, oversee all aspects of the ministry.
• Serve as the primary weekly preacher and BYA and manage the preaching schedule.
• Oversee the BYA Associate Pastor and provide shepherding and leadership to the ministry's leadership team.
• Participate as a Bridgeway staff pastor and assist with general pastoral duties (weddings, baby dedications, announcements in weekend services, etc.).
• Actively participate as part of the Next Gen leadership team along with the pastors overseeing children's, middle school, and high school ministries.
• Attend staff meetings, planning meetings, retreats, and other training meetings.
• Oversee the BYA budget, ensuring proper stewardship and ministerial effectiveness.
• Ensure all tasks are completed on time with high quality and attention to detail.
