Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr Estimator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a fast‑paced, high‑performing team in the construction industry. You will play a pivotal role in managing the preconstruction and cost estimation process for various construction projects. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in construction management, preconstruction, site work, and is proficient in Procore Construction Software and Microsoft Project.
Responsibilities
Leading the preconstruction process by preparing thorough and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.Reviewing project plans and specifications to determine the total cost of a project, including materials, labor, time schedules, and other factors.Utilizing Procore Construction Software and Microsoft Project to manage and track projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects during the project planning phase to provide cost‑saving strategies and value engineering options.Conducting site visits and preparing site work estimates.Evaluating subcontractor bids and quotations to ensure they are reasonable and fair.Participating in project meetings and presenting cost estimates to stakeholders.Continuously updating and maintaining the cost database and pricing models based on market trends and project outcomes.Coordinating with the procurement team to ensure materials and services are procured at the best prices.Providing mentorship and guidance to junior estimators and other team members.Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.Proficiency in Procore Construction Software and Microsoft Project.Extensive knowledge of preconstruction, construction management, and site work.A strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.Strong communication and presentation skills.The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) would be an added advantage.Application
