Part-Time After-School Site Program Manager

OverviewRight At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. The mission emphasizes a commitment to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind. Our vision is to bring exceptional, affordable programs to as many students, families, and schools as possible while providing a safe environment for children to explore and grow.
$20‑$24 per hour (based on education, experience).
Start DateImmediate.
Schedule2:30 pm–6:30 pm Monday through Friday; occasional early release days 11:15 am–6:30 pm; locations within the district.
LocationsBowie Elementary School, 2304 Bamore Rd., Rosenberg, TX 77471.
Required Qualifications- Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma/GED.
- One year of supervisor/management experience.
- 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management.
- At least one year of experience in a licensed program.

- Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observations.
- Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character‑building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way.
- Using your coursework training and our in‑person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well‑being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
- Excellent communication skills with varied audiences including children, parents, staff and school personnel.
- Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well‑being and attention of all children.
- Meet regularly with the Area Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.

- At least one year of experience working with children 5–13 years of age in a formal group childcare setting (required).
- 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management (required).
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
