Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA / QA Lead to oversee Inside Plant (ISP) quality assurance operations within a high-performance data center environment. This role ensures that fiber installations, documentation, and construction practices meet rigorous standards for reliability, scalability, and compliance. You will lead daily audits, train teams on best practices, and manage project documentation using ACC software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily QA audits of fiber installations, routing, labeling, and termination within the ISP environment.
  • Utilize ACC (Advanced Construction Controls) software for real-time documentation, issue tracking, and project updates.
  • Create, supervise, and maintain quality management policies and procedures by project standard requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to project specific specs and assist in coordinating the daily operational activities to maintain and develop agreed organizational performance plans within agreed budgets.
  • Monitor in-house installation teams as well as subcontract actions for contract compliance, monitor risk, and contribute suggestions for risk mitigation.
  • Facilitate a culture of continuous process improvement among management team by providing resources and collaborating to implement processes that are streamlined and compliant.
  • Manage document control including document management systems.
  • Prepare QA plans for various field construction activities.
  • Perform quality assurance inspections.
  • Conduct quality audits of on-site construction activities.
  • Provide safety training as required by position.
  • Maintain paperwork filing and documentation as needed.
Qualifications
  • Able to communicate technical information to field personnel as well as management.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical efficiency & knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience in QA/QC.
  • Prior working experience in telecommunications industry.
  • Strong understanding of fiber optic cabling standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, etc.) and ISP infrastructure.
  • Experience with QA/QC processes in data center or telecom environments.
  • Proficiency in ACC or similar construction/project documentation platforms.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities for team training and cross-functional coordination.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements (OSHA, NEC, etc.).
  • BICSI Technician or Installer certification (preferred).
  • FOA Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) (preferred).
  • OSHA 10/30 certification.
  • PMP or similar project coordination experience (preferred for lead roles).

Contract to Hire position based out of Rosemount, MN.

Pay and Benefits
