As our Industrial Electrician, you'll be the expert who keeps our plant running at peak performance. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Install, alter, maintain and repair electrical wiring systems, including 120/240-volt, 277/480- volt, and 4160-volt wye and delta.
- Perform a variety of other maintenance tasks on equipment including motors up to 1250 HP, coils, transformers, power panels and motor control centers and control equipment.
- Run rigid conduits and pull wires.
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshooting complex issues with industrial equipment, including motor controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Working with PLCs to diagnose problems and ensure systems operate correctly.
- Conducting routine safety checks and maintaining accurate service records.
- Collaborating with a supportive production team to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
You're a great fit for this role if you have:
- A Minnesota Class A Journeyman Electrician license
- 3+ years of experience with electrical maintenance and PLC troubleshooting in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, including motor controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and be a positive team player.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC (PLC 5, SLC 500, Control Logix, Compact Logix, and other Plc brands).
- Experience with HMI (Allen Bradley panel view, SCADA, C-More, Wonderware, Pro-face, Schneider, and others).
- Experience with Kuka Robotics or other robotics is a plus.
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally (team lift).
- Comfort with working in industrial environments with heavy machinery.
Must have the ability to understand and follow written and oral work instructions, operations, safety procedures, and hazardous labels.
