Position Overview
We are looking for a Field Engineer – Hyperscale Data Center to join our client team in Rosemount, MN. This full‑time, contract role lasts 5+ months, with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent position.

Duration: 5+ months (possible extension or hire)
- Ensure safety compliance and promote company core values.
- Participate in RFP reviews; analyze plans, specifications, and bid packages.
- Support Project Managers with delivery, reporting, and issue escalation.
- Suggest process improvements and mentor/develop colleagues.
- Interact with customers throughout the project lifecycle and maintain relationships.
- Provide oversight for subcontractors and coordinate acceptance/sign‑off.
- Lead telecom design validation; resolve conflicts via RFI.
- Manage project reviews (constructability, value engineering, design clashes).
- Implement dashboards and tracking systems for visibility into progress and productivity.
- Coordinate with superintendents on installation methods, labor, and manpower.
- Support QA/QC; validate test results (OTDR, Power Meter) and maintain redlines.
- Ensure deadlines are met and scope aligns with contracts/work orders.
- Drive change management; identify scope impacts and communicate with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of construction industry experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols, estimating, and engineering practices.
- Ability to develop project schedules and identify change events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, and construction tech platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with structured cabling and/or data center projects.
Skills & Qualifications
- OSHA‑30 Hour certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- BICSI certifications: TECH, OSP, RCDD.
- Experience managing large‑scale telecom or cabling projects.
Pay Range: $45 – $48 per hour. Pay will be based on education, experience, location, job duties, and certifications.
