The Task Associate (TA) supports sales by ensuring fixtures are stocked, store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The TA works with the Merchandise Manager (MM) and Operations Manager (OM) to meet operational metrics, assist people, and uphold processes.

Performance

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by ensuring all tasks are executed as planned and products are available.
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard, shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts and procedures.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

People

• Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests.
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.

Process

• Know and comply with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to the dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and processing shipments using Ulta Beauty’s technology.
• Keep assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
• Maintain outstanding store cleanliness for sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

Education

• High school diploma preferred.

Experience

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Skills

• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to problem solve.

Special Position Requirements

• Work a flexible schedule to include early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Continuous and/or frequent lifting, carrying and/or moving up to 25 lbs.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.

Pay range: $17.00 - $24.50 / hour. Pay determined by education, qualifications, certifications, experience, shift, location, and business needs. Eligible associates may earn overtime pay. Full‑time associates eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part‑time associates eligible for dental, vision, life and disability benefits.
