Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent guest experience by ensuring product is set, in stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas and supports pick, pack and ship fulfillment.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
• Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to assist with their specific needs and solve problems
• Thank guests and acknowledge their visit
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, arrange merchandise, and put up promotional signs for GM areas
• If certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures
• Execute processes including price changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to assist guests
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
• Work safely and report hazards; comply with safety policies and training
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking/packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while ensuring compliance with relevant laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and maintain attention to detail
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks within time frames

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb ladders when required
• Move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions; roles may involve Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
• Be mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
