BHC Alhambra Hospital – Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Location:

Rosemead, California (115‑bed private psychiatric hospital).

Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM.

• Accurately collect data needed for the appropriate portion of the integrated assessment.
• Take and record vital signs properly.
• Observe for, and document changes in patient’s appearance, behavior and ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
• Communicate changes in patient’s condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Report signs and symptoms of infection in resident to the Charge Nurse.

Education: Graduate from an accredited professional vocational nursing program or psychiatric technician training; preference for Child and Adolescent Development.

Experience: Minimum 1 year LVN in psychiatric nursing; preferred 6 months in Child and Adolescent Development.

Licensure: Licensed to practice vocational nursing from State Board of Nursing or Psychiatric Technicians.
