Charge Nurse (RN)
Shift Availability: AM 7:00 am – 7:30 pm (Full Time/Per Diem)
Location: Reasons Eating Disorder Center residential treatment facilities in six‑bed houses, Pasadena and Arcadia neighborhoods of the Los Angeles area.
About the RoleResponsible for prescribing, delegating, coordinating, and evaluating patient care through collaborative efforts with the health team. Supervisory responsibilities for LVN/LPT and Program Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Complete a comprehensive nursing assessment and patient interview within eight hours of patient’s admission.
- Document patient information and nursing care.
- Document and reassess any significant changes in the patient’s condition in compliance with policy.
- Delegate staff assignments based on patient needs.
- Create daily patient care assignments based on individual staff competency.
- Supervise nursing staff to assure timely completion of activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum three years as a registered nurse in a psychiatric health care facility.
- License: Current state board of nursing license.
