Senior Manager, Freight & Logistics
Panda Restaurant Group invites you to apply for the Senior Manager, Freight & Logistics (Supply Management) role. The position focuses on developing and executing strategies for managed freight and logistics programs, building relationships with suppliers, distributors, and freight partners, and ensuring compliance with safety, service, cost, and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities- Work with SCM senior leadership to design and execute a multi‑year Managed Freight and Logistics strategy aligned with overall SCM goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners, acting as liaison between sourcing, SCM stakeholders, and partners.
- Establish performance and compliance standards for partners, defining KPIs and reporting procedures.
- Identify opportunities to support business planning, improve partner performance, and optimize cost; direct the Managed Freight and Logistic team to execute analysis and strategy.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities to improve logistics performance and optimize cost through process improvements.
- Provide market intelligence and analysis to support PRG stakeholders.
- Set standards and cadence for business reviews with logistics/freight partners to align with overall SCM strategy.
- Recruit, select, and develop a team of logistics managers and analysts; provide leadership, coaching, and development to meet people‑planning goals.

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain management with increasing management responsibility, preferably in a multi‑unit food‑service distribution organization.
- Must obtain a valid Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of employment.
- Completion of annual store training if hired.
Pay Range: M3 – $127,000 to $178,000 per year (individual pay determined by location and experience).
