IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst, IT Consultant, IT Business Analyst
We are supporting a large, regulated utility organization in Southern California that is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee a critical technology workstream. This role will lead cross-functional coordination across product vendors, service vendors, and internal business and technology teams, ensuring successful delivery across multiple technology domains.
Additionally, the Project Manager must be able to quickly adapt and effectively coordinate activities related to Service Transition Planning & Support, as well as the Quality Design and Architecture Review Team processes.
Responsibilities- Own and oversee the full technology workstream from planning through execution
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans using Microsoft Project
- Coordinate and track progress across multiple internal technology teams and vendors
- Facilitate collaboration between product vendors, service vendors, and internal business partners
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise weekly status reports for operational teams and leadership
- Manage dependencies, risks, issues, and change control across the program
- Support and coordinate activities related to Service Transition Planning and Support
- Engage with Quality Design and Architecture Review teams to ensure compliance with established processes
- Quickly adapt to changing priorities and proactively drive projects forward
- 7–12 years of experience in IT Project Management within large enterprise environments
- Strong project and process management skills
- Hands-on experience building and managing project plans in Microsoft Project
- Familiarity working within structured, regulated environments and defined internal processes
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple technology work streams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Strong stakeholder management and reporting experience
