CDL DRIVER

Position: CDL A Truck Driver.
Location: Roselle, NJ (serving VMG Group or related contractor logistics).

Job Summary:

• Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport construction materials, equipment, or waste between job sites, warehouses, and suppliers.
• Support construction projects by ensuring timely delivery and pick‑up of materials.
• Must comply with all DOT, OSHA, and safety regulations while driving.

Typical Duties:

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections; document any mechanical issues.
• Safely operate tractor‑trailers or heavy vehicles to deliver building materials to job sites.
• Coordinate with project supervisors or dispatchers on schedule and delivery details.
• Load and unload materials as needed or oversee helpers who do so.
• Ensure compliance with delivery schedule and report delays or issues promptly.
• Maintain logs and records in accordance with DOT requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A license (required).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass drug/physical examination.
• Experience driving heavy vehicles in construction or freight delivery preferred.
• Familiarity with DZ routes around NJ/NY metropolitan areas a plus.
