Senior Project Accountant

Roselle, IL | $80,000–$100,000 | Hybrid (3 days in / 2 days WFH after training)

We’re partnering with a nationally recognized, high-growth design-build construction firm to hire a Senior Project Accountant for their expanding finance team. This company specializes in large-scale industrial projects for major national clients.

The Senior Project Accountant will support multiple high-volume projects while working closely with Project Managers and leadership. This is a visible, fast-paced role ideal for someone sharp, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Manage 8–10 active construction projects simultaneously
• Enter billing into third-party electronic systems
• Set up billing schedules and construction draws
• Initiate and track change orders
• Partner with Project Managers through project completion and closeout

• 4–8 years of project accounting experience within construction (GC or high-volume subcontractor preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or Associate’s with strong experience)
• Solid understanding of construction accounting principles
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
