Commercial Litigation Partner

A growing law firm is seeking a Senior Business and Commercial Litigation Attorney with 10+ years of experience to join its dynamic practice. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing complex business disputes and a proven ability to handle matters independently from inception through trial or resolution in both State and Federal Court.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of commercial litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, court appearances, mediation, arbitration, and trial
• Handle emergent applications and orders to show cause in the Chancery Division
• Represent clients in a wide range of business and commercial disputes, including:
• Contract disputes and vendor agreements
• Restrictive covenant and trade secret matters
• Confidential information and unfair competition claims
• Partnership and LLC member disputes
• Other Chancery and business litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs; prepare and argue motions in state and federal court
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and litigation support staff

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar required;
  New York Bar admission is a plus
• Minimum of 10 years of commercial litigation experience with a track record of managing complex cases
• Trial experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
