Junior Architectural Designer

The Junior Architectural Designer will play a key role in the early stages of design, including concept development, schematic design, and visualization. This position is ideal for creative individuals passionate about shaping ideas into compelling architectural concepts.

• Support the main designer in the initial design phase using Revit, Lumion, and Enscape.
• Complete construction documents for mixed‑use multi‑family and various commercial projects as needed.
• Collaborate with senior designers to brainstorm and refine design concepts.
• Research site conditions, zoning requirements, and client objectives to inform design direction.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Incorporate feedback from clients and stakeholders during iterative design phases.
• Stay current on architectural trends, materials, and sustainability practices.
• Explore creative solutions that align with project goals and budget.

• 1‑3 years of experience in architectural design using Lumion or Enscape.
• Full proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with ground‑up wood‑frame projects ranging from 33‑300 units.
• Strong understanding of mixed‑use multi‑family residential projects.
• Experience in initial concept design, schematic design, and design development.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong understanding of building codes, ADA, and construction documents.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Demonstrated understanding of the project pats and implementation.
• Able to work.ease both collaboratively and independently.

Contract to Hire position based in Roseland, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $28.84–$38.46 per hour.

The team consists of about 15 employees and is highly collaborative. The office is moving from Livingston to West Orange with a move‑in date set for January 2026. The company culture demonstrates low turnover, and many staff members have been with the firm for over 15 years.
