**** Your Responsibilities
** Our Inside Sales Representatives work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the sales organization to grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet and/or exceed monthly sales quotas. This role plays a huge part in the success of our company, and it gives individuals an opportunity to grow as a sales professional while providing our customers an exemplary level of service.
* Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.
* Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
* Proactively recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
* Present price, credit, and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers’ profitability profiles.
* Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns over the phone.
* Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items.
* Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery.
* Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and offering promotional sale items.
* Educate customers on features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite when necessary.
* Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
* Fill customer requests for catalogs, information, or samples.
* Remain current on consumer preferences, changes in local codes, and product developments by attending sales meetings, vendor trainings, and trade shows.
* Setup and maintain customer files within company CRM.
* Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction to ensure higher levels of service in future transaction.
* Communicate to the purchasing department unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products.
* Assist in scheduled physical inventory counts.
* Prepare and submits weekly call reports and monthly sales.
* Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
** Your Qualifications
*** Minimum of 18 years of age.
* If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
* A minimum of one-year business to business sales experience.
* Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills.
* Solid problem solving and consultative skills required.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced team sales environment with minimum supervision.
* Experience with MS Office Suite.
