The Med Star Medical Group - Radiology practice is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing practice in Med Star Franklin Square Medical Center (MFSMC).
A wide range of interventional procedures are performed at MFSMC ranging from basic to complex. The APP will be responsible for providing pre and post procedural evaluation and management for inpatients and outpatients undergoing IR procedures and performing minor image guided procedures under supervision of interventional radiologist.
The successful candidate will be joining a larger Med Star interventional practice, with the entire group sharing a common administration, and with collaborative programs in quality and practice building. IR experience in hospital based acute care practice is preferred, and MD license is required.
Responsibilities- Schedule:
4 - 10-hour days. No call. No weekends. - Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities; clinic, consults and procedures;
Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, varieties of vascular access procedures (training available).
