Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Abide by The Salvation Army Employee Handbook and all in-store policies & memos.
  • Process and sell merchandise in accordance with policy.
  • Perform duties as assigned:
    • Stocking
    • POS/Register Sales
    • Cleaning
    • Rag out
  • Greet all customers and/or donors, giving prompt and courteous assistance.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, neat, and organized Store.
  • Maintain assigned Store area as directed.
  • Maintain safety standards, report any hazards or problems to Supervisor.
  • Other written or verbal duties as may be assigned by Supervisor.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts.
  • Ability to operate a telephone.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
