Overview
Store Support role at The Home Depot. Position purpose describes non-sales functions including ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot, or providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction is sometimes required. These positions require cooperation with other associates, vendors, and carriers, the ability to work with little or some supervision, attention to detail, and proven time management skills.
They must demonstrate a high level of integrity, respond to operational concerns, and remain focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting key operational responsibilities. Specific positions may include:
Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.
- Provide non-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction in store operations.
- Assist customers in the lot and direct them to store departments or merchandise.
- Answer questions on product order status and assist with order fulfillment.
- Handle cash management or program compliance as assigned.
- Collaborate with associates, vendors, and carriers; work with little/some supervision; maintain attention to detail and time management.
