• RN:
  Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate or baccalaureate school of nursing.
• LPN/LVN:
  Graduate of an accredited licensed practical/vocational school of nursing.

• Current and unrestricted license as a Registered Social Worker Hospice in the state of practice.
• At least two years experience as a social worker in a hospice setting.

• Comply with ATC policies/procedures.
• Comply with client facility nursing policies/procedures.
• Document accurately and completely services provided.
• Maintain confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with HIPAA and/or other applicable standards.
• Communicate information effectively to appropriate personnel.
• Order nursing and other supplies as requested.
• Provide required care while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Provide patient services in a non‑judgmental, non‑discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved.
• Provide nursing care and first aid to ill students.
• Initiate emergency care as appropriate to circumstances.
• May ride the school bus as needed to accompany medically fragile students.
• Serve as an intermediary between school, home, physician, and social agencies regarding the health status of students.
• Assist in the health education of students by acting as a resource and consultant to teaching staff.
• Coordinate appropriate referrals for students with community agencies or programs.
• Identify and recommend students for placement in various health programs.
• Comply with and make appropriate referrals regarding applicable health laws, immunization, and communicable diseases.
• Maintain competency by participating in continuing education programs and meet state‑specific requirements.
• Comply with accepted ethical conduct and professional standards of nursing practice as set forth by the American Nurses Association or equivalent nursing organization.
