Summary

The Director of Admissions and Marketing oversees all admissions activities and drives census through community outreach, referral development, and branding. This role ensures a smooth admissions process, fosters strong referral relationships, and collaborates with internal teams to meet operational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the admissions process from inquiry to resident admission, ensure timely documentation, and track census data. Serve as the primary liaison to families.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, case managers, physicians, and other referral sources. Promote the facility in the community and identify new referral opportunities.
  • Develop local marketing plans, organize events, and manage online presence. Collaborate on branding and messaging with the corporate team.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align census goals, provide updates on referrals, and ensure staff preparedness for incoming residents.
Performance Expectations
  • Meet occupancy and admission targets.
  • Build and sustain referral networks.
  • Ensure exceptional experiences for residents and families.
  • Proactively improve processes and efficiency.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, residents, and families.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience in healthcare.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations and medical terminology.
  • Degree in healthcare management, medical social work, or marketing.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the practicing state.
