• Teach Social Studies to Junior and Senior High School students (grades 7-12).
• Foster an environment that supports student engagement and learning.
• Work with a team of professional educators in a small/rural school.

• Applicants must hold a Current Oregon Teaching License.
• Desire and ability to work with a team of professional educators in a small/rural school.
• Familiarity with instructional, assessment, and classroom management strategies that reflect current research and best practices.
• Experience working with diverse groups of learners.
• Knowledge and experience with differentiated instruction.
• Ability to effectively manage and supervise students and engage them in learning.
• Knowledge of Professional Learning Communities and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Standard First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain certification within two months of hire, may be required.

Riddle is a community-centered setting situated about 25 miles south of Roseburg, with mountain views and rivers. Riddle Jr./Sr. High School is a 7th-12th grade school serving just under 170 students. We are a team of dedicated professionals focused on providing an outstanding education for our students.
