Overview

Cultural Anthropology Instructor — Part-Time Faculty. The Part-Time Cultural Anthropology Instructor position is open until filled so that we can find the ideal candidate for our amazing team.

The Cultural Anthropology Instructor will teach assigned courses using current, effective teaching strategies and discipline-specific expertise. All UCC faculty are expected to engage students actively, utilize technology such as Canvas, and contribute to continuous curricular improvement. While your primary role is facilitating learning, you’ll also participate in student support activities and collaborate with colleagues across campus.

Required Qualifications
  • Commensurate with State of Oregon requirements of respective academic and/or technical field:
    Master’s degree in the discipline or the equivalent
Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years community college teaching experience
  • A minimum of five years of verifiable experience related to the field
  • Online instruction experience preferred, classroom teaching experience desirable
