VITICULTURE INSTRUCTOR (POOL) — Faculty Part-Time
The Viticulture Instructor position is a Pooled Position and applications will be reviewed on an as needed ongoing basis.

In the Faculty Part-Time Viticulture Instructor position, you will be committed to facilitating learning using the most up to date pedagogy, technology, and discipline specific knowledge. All faculty are responsible for teaching in all modalities and keeping current in new modalities that develop in higher education. Although facilitating learning is the most important role of the faculty, the needs of learners are also served when faculty are engaged in service to the college and student support activities.
ResponsibilitiesFacilitate learning using current pedagogy and technology; teach in all modalities; stay current with modality developments in higher education; engage in college and student support activities as part of your service to the college and students.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Commensurate with State of Oregon requirements of respective academic and/or technical field:
- Associate’s degree in science, soil or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in soil and/or wine making operations (or the equivalent in experience and/or education)
Preferred (Not Required)
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years community college teaching experience
- A minimum of five years of verifiable experience related to the field
- Online instruction experience preferred; classroom teaching experience desirable
- A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred for CTE faculty
