APPRENTICESHIP INSTRUCTOR (POOL) — Faculty Part-Time

The position of Apprenticeship Instructor is a pooled position and applications will be reviewed on an as-needed, on-going basis.

As a Part-Time Apprenticeship Instructor
, you will be responsible for training the next generation of industrial and electrical apprentices by teaching one or more apprenticeship classes. Instructors bring their real world experience to the course material in the learning management system (Canvas) for maximum student learning. Courses are delivered in person, remote, or hybrid. Training and support are provided to help instructors and students succeed.

• Teach one or more apprenticeship classes to industrial and electrical trades.
• Integrate real-world experience into course material and use the learning management system (Canvas) for student learning.
• Deliver courses in person, remotely, or in hybrid formats.
• Engage in training and provide support to instructors and students to promote success.
• Contribute to a student-centered, innovative learning environment.

• Journey level with more than 4 years of experience or equivalent professional experience to meet required skills and training.
• Completion of 4-year apprenticeship training preferred.
• Experience using equipment, tools, and similar materials required.
• Proficiency in, or willingness to learn instructional technology.
• Community College teaching experience preferred.
