The position of Biology Instructor is a pooled position and applications will be reviewed on an as needed, on-going basis.

Umpqua Community College is located in beautiful Southern Oregon between the mountains of the Cascade Range to the east and the Coastal Range to the west. Required Qualifications:

• Commensurate with State of Oregon requirements of respective academic and/or technical field:
• For General Education faculty, this is a Master’s in the discipline or the equivalent.

Preferred (Not Required)

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years community college teaching experience
• A minimum of five years of verifiable experience related to the field
• Online instruction experiences preferred; classroom teaching experience desirable.
