Construction Technician

Do you have construction experience and are looking for a position where you help others and grow your career? BBSI's client is looking for someone to join a team of construction and restoration technicians who work hard to clean, restore and reopen homes and business quickly and efficiently with advanced equipment and technology.

Successful Candidates will bring:

• High school diploma or GED
• Construction knowledge, including framing, drywall, flooring installation, roofing and rough and finish carpentry.
• Superb customer service track record.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work safely in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable, detail oriented, self-motivated and have excellent attendance.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Experience in restoration construction preferred.
• Insurable driving record.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform restorative construction services that may include, framing, dry wall, painting, roofing, finish carpentry and tile, hardwood, laminate, or carpet flooring.
• Pick up and deliver material supplies and/or manage material deliveries.
• Compile and resolve punch list items.
• Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, and local codes.
• Document all project activities and provide daily updates to Construction Coordinator.

• Hours:
  
  Full-time weekdays, overtime and weekends may be required during emergencies.
• Pay Rate: $17-$18/hour DOE
• Travel is required, but primarily in Douglas County. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
