Position overview:

A leading engineering and project management consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to take ownership of EPCM projects within the PGM, Chrome, and Base Metals Concentrator and Platinum Smelter sectors. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in technical project execution, ensuring that engineering solutions are delivered efficiently and in line with industry best practices.

• Lead engineering design, development, and execution for mineral processing projects.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration.
• Oversee technical specifications, calculations, and documentation to meet project requirements.
• Provide engineering support across all project phases, from feasibility to commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Work closely with clients, vendors, and construction teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and project optimization strategies.

• B.Eng /
  
  B.Sc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering (B.Eng /
  
  B.Sc preferred).
• 10-15 years of relevant EPCM experience in mining and mineral processing projects.
• Experience with Anglo American / Anglo American Platinum projects is highly desirable.
• Strong technical expertise in PGM, Chrome, Base Metals Concentrators, and Smelters.
• ECSA certification preferred but not essential.
