SMT Operator 1st Shift

Description

Operate the machine, which includes understanding the sequence of events, the control panel and indicators, and understand how to replenish supplies and components per Standard Operating Procedures

• Set-up of the machine, machine adjustments and ability to perform feeder loading and changing per the manufacturing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
• General machine cleaning and upkeep per the Standard Operating Procedures
• Other duties as assigned.
• Support Quality and Environmental Objectives

• Procedures for handling and storing moisture sensitive devices (MSDs)
• ESD requirements for the manufacturing area
• Procedure for control of solder paste
• General Instructions for handling and processing PCB’s
• Production output per customer requirements
• Component identification
• Understand safety and personal protection equipment (PPE) requirements of the area
• Basic understanding of non-conforming materials (NCM)

• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English. Be able to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings and specification sheets, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
