About This Role

Minibus Driver – The Romsey School (Part‑time, Term‑time only). 5‑10 hours per week, hourly rate £14.65. Start ASAP, closing 25 Jan 2026.

• Transport pupils from Oakfield Academy, Sylvia Crescent, Totton to The Romsey School (Greatbridge Road).
• Morning service 7.30‑8.30am; afternoon service 3.00‑4.00pm.
• Daily vehicle checks, refuelling, seat‑belt enforcement.
• Record keeping of student usage.
• Attend required training courses.
• Additional ad‑hoc driving hours for school trips, sporting fixtures.

• Experience in a similar role.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• MIDAS certificate (training provided if absent).
• D1 endorsement desirable.
• First aid certificate (training provided if absent).
• Reliable, good timekeeper.
• Safeguarding responsibility for students.
• Seat‑belt enforcement and vehicle safety checks.
• Maintain clean, tidy minibus.
• Promote school positively.
• Collaborate with Gateway Trust community.
