Maintenance Engineer - Double Day Shift (Manufacturing)

Salary: £47,000 + benefits

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing team on a double day shift pattern. You will be responsible for maintaining production machinery and site services to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation across the facility.

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical faults to minimise downtime
• Support engineering projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work to site Health & Safety standards and promote safe working practices
• Record maintenance activities and update CMMS systems where required
• Provide technical support to operations and help optimise machine performance

Time-served or qualified Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Experience with in a manufacturing, FMCG, food, automotive, or similar production environment

Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working a double day shift pattern

Knowledge of PPM systems; PLC fault-finding experience advantageous
