• Directly manage and supervise a small number of qualified and non-social work staff.
• Handle a caseload of complex and challenging cases with confidence and expertise.
• Support the team manager in maintaining and developing high professional standards within the team.
• Apply your specialist knowledge of social work practice with children and families across the service.
• Represent the service in key strategic initiatives and service provision developments.
• Cultivate your skills, expertise, and knowledge across various practice issues while providing consultation, coaching, and mentoring within the team.
• Foster team development and participate in recruitment processes to enhance team efficacy.

• Degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Extensive frontline experience in Social Services within the UK as a qualified Social Worker.
