Position: Project Manager (Permanent)
A dynamic project and cost consultancy based in Romford are on the look out for a professional and motivated Project Manager to join their Project Management team and support the delivery of projects in the residential sector.

The Company that the Project Manager will join:

The Project Manager will be joining a forward thinking consultancy that have 3 offices across the UK and are delivering projects in the residential sector.

The Project Manager will be joining a dynamic team of 50+ consultants, including Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Building Surveyors. The Project Manager will be working alongside a Senior Project Manager throughout the whole lifecycle of these projects.

The Project Manager will be offering support/mentorship to junior members of the Project Management team.

The Project Manager role:

The Project Manager will bring experience of delivering the full lifecycle of projects including new build, refurbishments and extensions from inception-completion and exposed to delivering schemes with contract values ranging from £20m-£80m.

You will be responsible for:

Running current/upcoming Project from inception-completion phase
Communicating effectively with internal/external parties ensuring that Projects are on track
Collaborate with the Assistant Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to resolve any challenges faced in project life cycles
Offer support towards Assistant Project Managers
Review cost regularly with cost consultants to ensure schemes are within budget
Arrange and attend client meetings
Ensure all works are compliant with safety and quality standards

Project Manager requirements:

Previous experience working for a Consultancy
Experienced delivering schemes in residential sector
MRICS or MAPM Chartered is preferred
BSc/MSc Construction Project Management
Comfortable running projects from inception-completion
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

£65,000-£75,000 per annum salary package
