Band 7 Clinical Trial Pharmacist; Part time

If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join the Clinical Trials team based at Queen's Hospital as part of the Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. This role offers you the chance to make a real difference to the delivery of research and gain valuable experience in clinical trials.

• Support the Lead Clinical Trials Pharmacist and Clinical Trials Senior Technician in the delivery of a diverse portfolio of both commercially and non-commercially sponsored studies.
• Organise the set‑up of trials and manage ongoing studies, ensuring all current legislation, MHRA guidelines and Good Clinical Practice standards are met.
• Provide support to the Clinical Trials team in pharmacy within Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust, ensuring all trials are conducted in accordance with the trial protocol, ethics and the law.
• Dispense accurately with optimum regard to patient safety and maintain all necessary records in the required format.

• Registered pharmacist.
• Completed Certificate in Pharmacy Practice or Module 1 of the Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice.
• Ability to work with medical and nursing staff and other health care professionals.
• Enthusiastic and motivated with good team‑working, communication and organisational skills.
• Hard working, accurate and have previous hospital pharmacy experience (experience in clinical trials is desirable).
