Role Overview
An established building services provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to carry out inspection, testing, certification, and compliance works across healthcare premises. This role is critical to maintaining electrical safety, system reliability, and continuity of essential clinical services within live healthcare environments.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working within hospitals or healthcare facilities and a strong understanding of healthcare-specific compliance standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience carrying out electrical testing within healthcare or safety-critical environments
* Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical inspection & testing procedures
* Ability to work safely in live, high-risk environments
* Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
* Strong communication skills when dealing with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
* City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) – Inspection & Testing
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
* Up-to-date knowledge of current Wiring Regulations
* ECS / JIB Gold Card (desirable)
* AP (Authorised Person) or CP (Competent Person) status (desirable)
