Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? You will assist in the delivery of engaging and innovative teaching within the classroom, on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. Working with the teacher you will assist with the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies to ensure provisions support individual learning needs.

Stapleford Abbotts School was built in 1887 and has been an important part of village life. The school attracts children from a wide catchment area and from the neighbouring London Boroughs of Redbridge, Dagenham, and Havering. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.

- Estimated actual salary £19,223 to £19,515 Incl. Fringe allowance
- 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
