SEN Teaching Assistant

As a SEN TA, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs, both 1:1 and in small groups across Key Stages 1 and 2. The role is varied and rewarding — ideal for someone who wants to be part of a school that truly puts the child first.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have prior experience working with children with a range of SEN (including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, and learning difficulties)

• Be calm, patient, and nurturing with a positive and proactive approach

• Be committed to supporting the individual needs of every child

• Have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team

• Be flexible, resilient, and able to use initiative
