Working across Early Years, EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
• Assist the class teacher in adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Foster a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience supporting children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
• Be patient, empathetic, and proactive
• Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and child development
• Be able to commit to 8:30am – 3:30pm, term time only
