Are you a current Lecturer - SEND Complex needs looking to work in a supportive, forward-thinking college?
We're recruiting for a Lecturer - SEND Complex needs to join our team on a full time, fixed term basis until April 2027
.
The salary scale for this role is £26,514 - £46,307 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities- Plan and develop lessons, including the development of schemes of work
- Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with focus on constructive and development feedback for our students
- Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students
- Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standards in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply
- Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsibilities for designated students in order to support them in their own development and future progression
- Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students
- Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector
- Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors.
- Experience working with SEND students with complex needs
All applicants should have good administrative skills and be able to accurately track students' attendance, progress and achievements.

You will be required to become familiar with the College's policies, and comply with the requirements to safeguard and protect the welfare of children and young people and vulnerable adults. All staff are asked to complete mandatory training in relation to KCSIE and other key areas, and to read the relevant policies.
