We are recruiting a Care Support Teaching Assistant to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a special school in Romford, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and helping them access learning in a caring, structured environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality education and training for children with complex needs.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups

Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities

Providing personal care and emotional support where required

Implementing behaviour support strategies and individual learning plans

Supporting pupils with communication, social interaction, and independence skills

Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals

Ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment at all times
