Hill McGlynn Recruitment are pleased to be working with a growing and well-established contractor who, due to continued expansion, are now looking to appoint an Estimator to be based out of their Havering office.
 
Our client delivers a diverse portfolio of works, including new build projects, repairs and refurbishment, and cladding/facades schemes. This role would suit an Estimator with experience in one or more of these sectors who is looking to join a business with a strong pipeline of work and long-term stability.

The Role As an Estimator, you will be responsible for pricing and tendering a range of projects, working closely with the commercial and delivery teams to produce accurate and competitive submissions.

Key Responsibilities  
Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scope of works
Producing take-offs and pricing using supply chain and subcontractor input
Assessing risk, value engineering opportunities, and commercial viability
Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the tender process
Supporting pre- and post-tender meetings as required  Requirements  
Proven experience as an Estimator
Background in new build, refurbishment/repairs, and/or cladding & facades
Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
Good communication skills and commercial awareness  What's on Offer
